DAY FIVE: GEO-PARK
DAY FIVE: GEO-PARK
We could not wish a better wrap-up meeting! The GEO-PARK
office is located in a great area where it owns a beautiful old building. The
presentation and a round table discussion were conducted by Miguel Patrico
Aylwin and Luciele Marks Oliverski.
The company is founded and owned by two
outstanding businessmen: Mr. Gerald E. O’Shaughnessy from Wichita, KS (GEO) and
Mr. Park (PARK). The company signed contracts with governments of Latin America
countries for gas and oil exploration and extraction. All natural resources are owned by the government of Chile. GEO-PARK has oil production and
treatment facilities in Chile, Colombia and Argentina covering 3.9 million
acres.
GEO-PARK is a private company which practices social responsibility to people of Latin
America: It creates value and gives back. All employees are shareholders of the company
and take pride in its growth and positive impact on the environment and people’s
lives.
All of us are very grateful to Mr. O’Shaughnessy for
inviting the MGLM graduating class to visit his company.
This visit concludes our business residency in Chile, a beautiful country with endless opportunities.
We took lots of pictures and will post some of them shortly.
Thank you for visiting our blog. Come to visit the MGLM program or email your questions to valentina@friends.edu
